🐟 Classic Meen Kuzhambu Recipe (Serves 4)
Ingredients:

Fish (seer/nethili/kani meen) – 500g

Tamarind – lemon-sized (soaked)

Aleida Meen Kuzhambu Masala – 3 tbsp

Shallots – 10 (or 1 onion, chopped)

Tomato – 1 (chopped)

Garlic – 6 cloves
-
Curry leaves – 1 sprig

Mustard seeds – ½ tsp

Fenugreek seeds – ¼ tsp
-
Gingelly oil – 3 tbsp
-
Salt – to taste

Water – as needed
Method:

Heat gingelly oil in a clay pot or kadai. Splutter mustard and fenugreek seeds.

Add garlic, shallots, curry leaves. Sauté till golden.

Add tomatoes and cook till soft.

Add tamarind extract, salt, and bring to a boil.

Add cleaned fish pieces and simmer for 10–15 minutes on low flame.
